Marshfield Safety Day - Hosted by Shoreline Aviation

We're delighted to announce we'll once again be hostingMarshfield_Safety_Day_-_Safety_Rescue_Aircraft-2.png
Marshfield Safety Day at the Marshfield Airport (GHG) this year.  Join us Saturday, May 14th, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to learn all about the local, state and federal agencies that work to keep you safe every day! 

Safety plays an important role in our everyday lives - on land, in the air, and at sea.  This free event which is open to the public, provides the opportunity to connect with the people protecting you and to learn what you can do to be better prepared for emergencies or natural disasters.

Marshfield Safety Day will bring together law enforcement and public service agencies from across the region, including public safety and emergency management agencies at the local, state and federal level.  Also on hand will be representatives froMarshfield_Safety_Day_-_Safety_Presentation_for_Kids.pngm regional power companies, the state department of transportation, the Coast Guard, and many others for a day of learning, activites and fun for the whole family! 

Children will enjoy climbing aboard an airplane, touring the Marshfield harbormaster’s boat, and seeing Beny the police K-9 in action.  And these are just a few of the many things South Shore residents can expect to find at this year's Marshfield’s Public Safety Day - which will also include a few giveaways for children! 

The event will also offer emergency and disaster preparedness trainingMarshfield_Safety_Day_-_German_Shepherd_Police_Dog.png through interactive displays, safety equipment demonstrations and presentations for both children and adults.  

The event offers activities for all age groups and both individuals and families are encouraged to attend to learn how to prepare for, and react to, emergency situations including natural disasters on land, in the air and at sea.

  • Interactive Safety Training
  • Boat Static Displays
  • Emergency Preparedness Equipment & Training
  • Safety Demonstrations by Government, Law Enforcement, Public Safety, and Military Personnel
  • Child Fingerprinting
  • NSTAR Wire Safety Demo
  • Aircraft Static Displays
  • Flight Simulator
  • Land/Sea/Air Safety Equipment Displays

Visitors will also be treMarshfield_Safety_Day_-_BBQ.jpgated to an outdoor BBQ!  

Food and refreshments will be provided by the Marshfield Kiwanis and attendees can look forward to free hamburgers and hotdogs, fresh off the grill!
