Young Eagles Day provides young people between the ages of 8 and 17 years old the opportunity take an airplane ride - free of charge!
As part of this event, we'll also be hosting an outdoor picnic serving up hot dogs, chips and soda to all who attend!
About the Young Eagles Program
The EAA Young Eagles program was founded in 1992 to introduce young people to the world of flying.
EAA Young Eagles provides its members with everything from a free first flight lesson to free on-line aviation news and information, a free online flight training course, scholarship and internship opportunities to help interested students cover the costs of learning to fly, and more.
How can you help?
While the kids are flying parents are invited to learn about the Marshfield Airport and the multi-faceted role it plays in the community, the environment and the economy. Or if you are a member of the EAA national chapter, and would like to volunteer, you can help us take kids up for a flight!
Fuel Rebate for Volunteers
Phillips 66 Aviation has generously donated a rebate program for participating pilots who purchase Phillips 66 fuel the day of the event, and will be providing $1.00 credit per gallon of fuel purchased.
If you would like to volunteer as a pilot or ambassador on the ground, please contact Ann Pollard (apollard@ShorelineAviation.net) or David Dineen( firstname.lastname@example.org) - or contact either by phone at Shoreline Aviation (main number): (781) 834-4928.
