Piper Aircraft, Inc. recently unveiled its newly upgraded Premier Elegance Interior collection for its industry-leading M-Class line of aircraft at the National Business Aviation Association’s (NBAA) 65th Annual Meeting and Convention in Orlando, Florida.
Premier Elegance interiors are comprised of luxury soft goods, including seating upholstery, side panels and other features in four new interior décor color options including Mesa and Summit, as well as higher-end Glacier and Dune.
Piper’s M-Class line-up includes the pressurized turboprop Meridian, pressurized piston Mirage and unpressurized piston Matrix aircraft. Glacier and Dune interiors will be offered as standard options for the Piper Meridian, while Mesa and Summit will be offered standard for Mirage and Matrix models. Mirage and Matrix buyers will also be able to upgrade to Glacier and Dune.
Dramatic Glacier offers porcelain leather seating, IZIT leather ermine pearl side panels and a luxurious black textured loop pile Cotswald Exeter carpet, while Dune offers a light tan version of these features.

Summit is characterized by light grey colorways and Mesa features very light khaki tones, with both looks also extending to coordinated side panels, seating and carpeting.
The Premier Elegance interior also extends to cockpit décor and incorporates a handsome new matte black finish on the avionics panel in all M-Class planes. In addition to the more modern look, the matte finish is sure to be appreciated by pilots for being easier on the eyes.
Piper’s manufacturing prowess extends to almost all aspects of the aircraft manufacturing process, from state-of-the art metal bonding, to gear assembly, to windshield fabrication and aircraft painting processes – and interior elements are no exception; the company maintains its own on-site upholstery shop. All Premier Elegance interior elements including leather, carpeting and side panels will be cut and sewn at Piper’s own facility, ensuring the superior quality control required to meet Piper’s high standards.
