Employment opportunity for airframe & powerplant mechanic

Job Description & Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Shoreline Aviation’s managed fleet in accordance with Part 135 regulations. Shoreline’s managed fleet includes Citation 560XL, Pilatus PC-12 and Dassault Falcon 2000LX aircraft.
- Document all repairs in accordance with FAA regulations, Shoreline Aviation’s General Operations Manual, and manufacturer requirements.
- Work collaboratively with pilots, dispatch, and maintenance personnel to identify and resolve aircraft discrepancies efficiently and safely.
- Maintain a current working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations, with emphasis on Parts 43, 91 and 135.

Job Specific Requirements
- Licenses/certificates: Airframe & Powerplant Certificate required; valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Physical: Routinely lifts up to 50 pounds, occasionally up to 100 pounds; reads small print; hears sounds associated with mechanical deficiencies; repetitive motion; works with moving parts and vibration; tolerates products, materials, and fumes associated with component maintenance; tolerates working in confined spaces and heights above 4 feet; tolerates standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and sitting
- Environmental: Tolerates working in extreme temperatures and in noisy environments
- Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, with on-call availability if necessary
- Must be drug and alcohol program compliant
- Must live within two hours commute to KGHG
Education and Experience
- High school graduate or equivalent required
- Ability to understand and interpret aircraft technical data
- Effective communication in English, oral and written
- Four years related engine/airframe maintenance experience
- Experience with Citation, Pilatus or Dassault aircraft types preferred
