Taking flight at the controls of an aircraft is an experience unlike any other.
Soaring above the clouds with the freedom of a bird is an exhilarating feeling only a lucky few will enjoy in their lifetime. If you have always dreamed of becoming a pilot, don’t let the opportunity pass you by!
A Life Changing Skill
Becoming a pilot will broaden your horizons like no other skill can. With a pilot’s license in hand, weekend possibilities almost magically expand. Pilots departing Marshfield Municipal Airport (KGHG) can easily visit destinations like Nantucket, Martha’s Vineyard, or Maine—in a single afternoon!
Trips to the White Mountains, the Berkshires, or New York City—whether for a hike, a shopping trip, or to enjoy dinner and a show—all become easy weekend excursions you can plan at the drop of a hat.
Get Current
If you’re already a licensed pilot but haven’t flown in a while, our instructors will work with you, one-on-one, to get you current and confident with your flying skills. Licensed pilots can also broaden their horizons by obtaining an instrument or commercial rating.
Advanced Options to Suit Your Needs
We also offer advanced instruction including Instrument, High Performance/Complex Signoffs, Biennial Flight Reviews, and Instrument Competency Checks. Our instructors are also available to train in your own airplane.
Our Training & Rental Fleet
Shoreline Aviation, Inc. is an FAA approved Part 61 Flight School. We operate a training and rental fleet of Piper Warriors. All of our aircraft are maintained on-site by the expert technicians of our own authorized Piper Service Center—which helps to control maintenance related downtime and cancellations and ensures the utmost safety of our aircraft at all times.
For Pilots of All Levels
We encourage student pilots and rated pilots to visit FAA’s “Become a Pilot” Page for the latest online training courses on many different topics. Another great site is FAA’s Pilot Safety Program Page. This site contains a log of useful information, regardless of your experience level. Sign up for updates on local safety seminars and alerts. Be sure to check out their interactive online training courses on topics like flying through the Washington ADIZ, airport signs and markings—or preparing for your next flight review!
