Pilatus PC-12 NGX turboprop joins Shoreline Aviation’s charter certificate

This Pilatus PC-12 NGX has joined Shoreline Aviation’s managed fleet.

Discerning travelers now get more of a great thing flying with Shoreline Aviation. That’s because the powerhouse 2024 Pilatus PC-12 NGX turboprop aircraft that joined Shoreline’s managed fleet in January is now listed on Shoreline’s charter certificate.

What does that mean for travelers?

Now Shoreline offers a companion to its PC-12 NG turboprop based on Massachusetts’ South Shore in Marshfield, berthing the NGX in the heart of Southeastern Massachusetts at Norwood Memorial Airport. And both aircraft can fly from an airport near you.

The workhorse turboprop aircraft complement the company’s charter fleet of Citation 560XL series and Falcon 2000LX jets, based in Marshfield and Palm Beach. The Citations will take you just about anywhere domestically, and the Falcon can fly across the globe.

The new NGX offers a striking modern interior. As Pilatus says, “Together with BMW Designworks we are pleased to offer the most comfortable and modern cabin experience ever in the PC-12 NGX.”

The NGX will provide a supremely comfortable midrange flight to wherever your heart or head wants to take you. Whether it’s a pleasure trip to Nantucket or down east Maine, or a business trip to upstate New York or Chesapeake Bay, Shoreline’s Pilatus PC-12s have you covered. The NGX offers a top cruising speed of 290 knots and range of 1,765 nautical miles.

“This is a great New England airplane,” says Shoreline Aviation President Keith Douglass. “It has tremendous short-field capability, so it can land at most local airfields. We love its versatility, its safety record, and the economics of running it. It’s a favorite among business people for its efficiency, affordability, and range. And people going skiing or hunting can get into places other planes can’t.”

In fact, the PC-12 NGX can use runways as short as 2,485 feet at its maximum weight and operate from dirt, gravel, and grass surfaces. While the PC-12 is single-pilot certified, Shoreline flies its Pilatus turboprops with two pilots.
